I got a couple of AVI files which seem to be encoded using Divx5 and I can't get the audio to play. I know it must be missing codec. I'm using MS Media Player 9 under WinXP and when I load the files, it tries to download a missing codec but fails to do so. At first, I didn't have the video either, so I downloaded Divx5 bundle and installed it. Now I get the video, but no audio. I installed ACE Mega CodecS Pack.

It partially solved the problem: I had audio, but the video was shaky, even MPEGs or older AVI movie files which used to play perfectly. So I was now able to get the the audio, but the video output was awful. I know I have a pretty slow computer, but why files the used to play well were now all shaky? So I uninstalled ACE Mega CodecS Pack and tried Nimo Pack instead. The same shakiness occured.
